The Pioneers boys track and field team had a strong showing in last nights season opener by defeating both Washington and North Daviess. The team had several event winners. Jr. Jordan Paul won both the 110H and 300H. Senior Cole Cundiff won both the Shot put and Discus. Jr. Josiah Jorgenson won the Pole Vault. So. Aiden Perigo won the 100m. So. Nolan McKinney won the 200M. Freshman Caleb Gentry won the 800M. Jr. Grant Montgomery won the 1600M. Senior Logan Whyte won the 400M. The 3200M Relay of Logan Whyte, Caleb Gentry, Grant Montgomery, and Kaden Musgrove took first. The 4x100 relay of Nolan McKinney, Logan Strahle, Aiden Perigo, and Jordan Paul also placed first. We also had many 2nd, and 3rd place finishers. The team looks to keep going strong this coming Friday as we head to Corydon Central high school to compete in the 15 team Stargazer Invitational.
