on a hot Saturday afternoon, the lady pioneers soccer team took on the Harrison warriors in a back and forth fight. Scoring for the Pioneers was Ava Kelley with a hat trick, and Maya Cobb off a PK and beautifully assisted ball from Morgan Poellein. The game was very physical, with Ava challenging the keeper multiple times, and the midfield quartet of Maya, Morgan, Irie, and Gracey putting in lots of work up and down the field. Ellie Tieman, Mad Dog Strahle, Faith Kilgore, and Audri Payne put in work up top, providing some solid pressure on the Harrison defensive line. The ladies definitely have a lot to learn from the battle, but have things to be proud of as well! The girls stay local and play Evansville Christian on Tuesday at Goebel Complex.
