The lady pioneers took on Mount Vernon Tuesday evening, on a beautiful night at the Double Cola fields. The ladies came out a bit flat, giving up some early goals. However, Maya Cobb put one in the net off a beautiful assist from Morgan Poellein and some cleanup off a goalkeeper deflection. The ladies got tired and had a few defensive breakdowns, but after a half time talk, shut out the Wildcats for the second half. Addy Tuley and Molly “Wobbles” Lockridge put in solid support for their first games back. The ladies look to bounce back this Thursday against Pike Central.
