The Freshmen football team won an exciting game at Southridge last night, defeating the Raiders 34-28. The Pioneers overcame a 22 - 8 halftime deficit, setting up a Isaiah Maglinger to Jacob Hall touchdown in the final seconds. Maglinger also connected with Luke Whyte for a touchdown, and had a rushing score. Spencer Howard had two rushing touchdowns for the Pioneers on the night. Defensively, Howard and Dalton Irvin both came up with fumble recoveries, while Joel Whelan forced a big fumble late in the game. Franklin Fox had a sack for the Pioneers. It was a great team effort, Go Pioneers!
