The boys track and field team placed 6th at the Jasper Sectionals Thursday evening. Jordan Paul led the way for the Pioneers with a 2nd place finish in the 110H qualifying him for next week's regionals. The boys 4x800 team of Montgomery, Gentry, Whyte and Musgrove finished 3rd qualifying them for next week's regionals as well. Grant Montgomery placed 4th in the 1600 but got the early call back and will also compete in next week's regionals. Other scores for the Pioneers were Logan Strahle 5th in the long jump with a PR jump of 19'6", Jordan Paul placed 4th in the 300H, Logan Whyte placed 5th in the 800M and Caleb Gentry placed 6th. The qualifying boys will compete next Thursday evening at the Evansville Central Regionals. Good Luck to them all.
