Country Oaks golf course hosted the PAC tournament on Saturday afternoon. Following graduation ceremonies, Boonville golf headed north to try and defend the PAC title. The team battled against gusting winds and fierce opponents, coming up just short of a 2nd straight PAC win. The pioneers posted a team score of 327 to tie the Gibson Southern Titans, but lost the tie break on a 5th man score. Mason Keller and Tanner Garrett finished their PAC conference careers with rounds of 86, just off the all conference spots. Mason Mills and Cash Willis made it into the PAC all conference team. Mills shot 80 and Cash Willis 75. Cash finished the round tied for first with Peyton Blackard at 75, which called for a sudden-death playoff. The two players head back to the tee on hole 18, not once, but twice, to determine the overall winner. Cash battled the conditions, but came up just short, barely missing a lengthy par putt to extend the playoff. Great job, Cash!
