The Running Pioneers competed at the Tecumseh Invitational on Wednesday night and celebrated Senior Night! In the Boys Race, Grant Montgomery took the lead and never looked back, finishing in 1st place overall with a commanding lead the entire race with a time of 17:01! Senior Logan Whyte was unable to finish the race due to lingering stomach issues, but had a great start. Senior Aiden Zint finished in 29th place with a big career best time of 21:51, taking a minute and a half off his time! Daniel Ward finished in 39th place, Landon Boyer and Joseph Henry both ran personal best times improving times by over a minute! In the Girls Race, Nikki Snow finished in 9th place overall running a season best time of 23.27! Senior Lyndsey Winsett finished in 14th place almost matching her season best time and running strong the entire race! Ava Brown and Michelle Smith finished 21st and 26th overall. Congratulations to our Seniors - Lyndsey, Aiden and Logan for all your hard work and commitment to BHS Cross Country! Great Job Team! Great PR's! The Team will run on Saturday at the Pike Central Invitational at Prides Creek. Good Luck Team! Keep Running Strong!
