The Cross Country Team competed individually at the Alan Hopewell Invitational at Gibson Southern on Thursday night. In the Jr/Sr Boys Race, Grant Montgomery finished in 1st place with a career best time of 16:59 and he placed 2nd overall out of 148 runners in the combined finishes! Logan Whyte finished in 20th place and was 34th in the combined finishes, Aiden Zint finished in 63rd place and ran a season best time, improving his time by over two minutes! In the Fr/So Boys Race, Joseph Henry finished 70th and ran a season best time, improving his time by over 34 seconds! In the Jr/Sr Girls Race, Lyndsey Winsett finished in 28th place and was 49th overall out of 105 runners in the combined finishes! In the Fr/So Girls Race, Nikki Snow finished in 23rd place and was 52nd overall in the combined finishes! Michelle Smith placed 57th and finished the race strong. Great Job Team! Several PR's tonight! The Team will compete next Saturday at the Heritage Hills Invitational.
