Varsity vs Gibson Southern (1 - 11) Lady pioneers played a tough game against Gibson Southern. some composure was lost early, but after getting it back, multiple players stepped up and began to shut down the oppositions efforts. Down 2-0, Maya Cobb made a terrific run into the box and put her left footed strike into the bottom of the net. Mia Biggins was a beast and bodied multiple of their players while Hannah Barnhill put her body on the line many times to shut down plays as well. Ava Kelley and Maya Cobb worked hard to create opportunities for scoring, but we just couldn’t find the net. the girls are continuing to grow and learn. Great fight ladies!
