Boonville High School

The Boonville boys track team finished 3rd in the 16 team Stargazer Invite at Corydon Central High School Friday night. The Pioneers were led by Senior Jacob Koester with his first place finish in the discus. Sophomore Jordan Paul won the 110H and placed 4th in the 300H. Senior Marques Ballard finished 2nd in the long jump. The 4x100 relay team of Pierce, Paul, Carter, and Ballard finished 2nd. The 4x800 team of Mayes, Whyte, Montgomery, and Musgrove placed 4th. Junior Quincy Carter placed 4th in the high jump. The boys will be back in action Tuesday night when they host Southridge, South Spencer, and Perry Central.
