The Varsity Football Team was defeated by Evansville Reitz 24 - 0 in the opening round of the IHSAA Sectional on Friday night. The Pioneers were unable to overcome a slow start, which saw them down 24 - 0 at the half. The Pioneers came up with a pair of turnovers in the second half, which included a Tyler Rinehart interception and Tyler Klaner fumble recovery. Wyatt Franz and Hunter Kuebler each had double-digit tackles, while Hunter Wilson broke-up multiple passes. Thank you to our seniors for their contributions and work put into our program over the past 4 years.
