The boys track team finished 4th at the Jasper sectional Thursday night. The Pioneers had three sectional champions in 4 events and qualified for next weeks Evansville Regional. Senior Jordan Paul won both the 110m and the 300m hurdles. Senior Grant Montgomery won the 800m and Senior Logan Strahle won the long jump! The 4x800m relay team of Gavin Zint, Caleb Gentry, Callahan Merkel, and Grant Montgomery placed 3rd and also qualifed for next weeks regionals. The team will wait for possible call backs in a few other events. The qualifying boys will run next Thursday at Evansville Central High School for the Evansville Regionals.
