The Girls Track Team was in action on Saturday at the Tell City Marksman Invitational. The Ladies fought hard in poor conditions throughout the day securing a 7th place finish at the 14 team invitational. Scoring for the Pioneers was Ava Kelley finishing 1st in the 100, long jump, and 2nd in the 200, Irie Squires finished 6th in the 100 hurdles and 5th in the 300 hurdles, Whitney Shoup finished 8th in the 100 hurdles and 7th in the 300 hurdles, Addison Luff finished 2nd in high jump, the 4x100 meter relay team finished in 6th and the 4x400 meter relay team finished in 7th. Ava Kelley was also named the most outstanding athlete of the meet for her performances in the 100,200, long jump, and for her part on the 4x100 meter relay team. Congrats Ava! The Ladies will be back in action on Tuesday evening at Jasper. Go Pioneers!
