The Girls Track Team competed Tuesday evening in the Perry Central/Southridge/South Spencer/ Boonville Quad meet. The Girls team was without some key pieces Tuesday evening but still fought hard for a third place finish. Scoring for the Pioneers was Addison Luff finishing first in the high jump, Abigail Orr finishing first in Pole Vault Riley Cartwright with a huge new personal best of 99'4" finished first in discus and fourth in the shot put, Abbiegail Whelan finished fifth in discus, Lillyan Shoulders finished second in the 1600, Mia Smith finished fourth in the 1600, Irie Squires finished second in the 100 hurdles and fourth in the 300 hurdles Whitney Shoup finished third in the 300 meter hurdles, the girls 4x100 meter relay team of (Squires, Orr, Shoup, and Luff) finished third, and the 4x400 meter relay team of (Luff, Shoulders, Bagby-Kline, Squires) finished third. The Team will now have a quick turn around and be back in action Thursday evening as the travel to Heritage Hills. Great job all. Go Pioneers!
