The boys track and field team finished 8th out of 21 teams Friday night at Corydon Central at the Stargazer Invitiational. Top Performer for the Pioneers was Jordan Paul finishing 2nd in the 110H with a season best time of 14.74 and 2nd in the 300 H. Top 10 placers for the night were Grant Montgomery 4th in the 800M with a PR time of 2:04. Caleb Gentry placed 6th in the 800. Landon Boyer placed 6th in Pole Vault with a Vault of 10'6. Josiah Jorgenson placed 7th in the Pole vault. Kyler Fischer placed 7th with a PR throw in disc at 123.9ft. Logan Strahle finished 7th in long jump. The boys will be back in action Tuesday when they travel to Perry Central for a quad meet with Southridge, Perry Central, and South Spencer.
